The Norfolk County Public Library (NCPL) is looking for one more community-minded resident to join its Board of Trustees. The successful applicant will fill the remaining term and help guide the library’s services and future plans.
Board trustees help set policy, oversee budgets, and ensure programs meet the needs of Norfolk County residents. Candidates must be Canadian citizens, at least 18 years old, and live in Norfolk County. They cannot be employed by the library or the county.
NCPL CEO Julie Kent says the position is a rewarding way to give back. “We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to learning, connection, and innovation,” she said.
Experience in governance or library issues is helpful but not required. Applications are open until Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Details and the application form are available at tinyurl.com/NCPLboard-join.
