Do you want to cut loose for a good cause?
Yesterday, we told you about the changes at the Routes to Roots Film Festival, looking to get more youth involved in the film and digital content world.
In order to help with that, funds will be needed – and so those behind the idea came up with a fun way to get the community involved.
That was Vice Chair Jim Carrol.
He said the idea behind the revamped film festival is all about youth discovering more about themselves through film – much like these characters did through dance.
Carrol added it can be a low cost way to enjoy the day, but he really hopes the community will dig a little deep knowing where that money is going.
You can kick off your Sunday shoes and join them for a special screening at the Strand Saturday, September 20th, starting at 4:15 PM
