Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) has announced the election of Peter Krause as Chair of its Board of Directors for a two-year term. A long-time board member since 2018, Krause brings more than four decades of leadership experience in healthcare, education, and community service.
Krause’s background spans public service, private consulting, and non-profit governance. He has served on the boards of the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home and St. Williams Conservation Reserve, and is President of Krause Corporate Solutions, a firm specializing in pensions, benefits, and organizational strategy.
“It’s a privilege to support an organization that plays such a vital role in the health and wellbeing of our community,” said Krause. “NGH is entering an exciting chapter, and I look forward to working with my fellow board members to continue building a strong and responsive healthcare system for Norfolk County.”
Krause succeeds Stephanie Pongracz-Clarysse, who served as Chair from 2022 to 2024. NGH extended its thanks for her dedicated leadership and welcomed new trustees joining the board at its Annual Meeting.
