Norfolk County is reminding residents that most services and all County buildings will be closed on Labour Day.
Emergency and essential services such as fire and paramedics will continue, but administrative offices, libraries, museums, archives, recreation centres, and transfer stations will not operate.
Waste collection will be delayed by one day across the county, except in Simcoe, and Ride Norfolk will also be suspended.
Residents are also reminded that fireworks are only permitted up to 11 p.m., two days before and one day after Labour Day, under County by-law.
