Haldimand County is reviewing its water and wastewater user rates and inviting residents to take part in the process. The County, working with consultant Watson & Associates Ltd., is conducting a comprehensive study to ensure rates remain fair and sustainable.
The study aims to keep rates stable over time, plan for future infrastructure upgrades, prepare for population growth and regulatory changes, and maintain safe, high-quality service delivery.
A public information session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Haldimand County Administration Building in Council Chambers. At the session, consultants will present the draft rate study and respond to questions submitted in advance.
The draft study will be available on the County website beginning September 2, 2025. Residents are encouraged to review the document and share feedback online. More details can be found at haldimandcounty.ca/ratestudy
