The Simcoe & District Humane Society is at full capacity.
President Cathie Hosken says they’re overflowing, and a tough decision has been made.
So far this year, they’ve helped more than 400 cats and 100 dogs – and that does not include the many other animals who come into their care.
And these animals coming in are usually not arriving with a clean bill of health.
While they have loyal donors, the uptick in animals coming in is not matching the funds.
They are hoping the public can assist them financially.
