A good news update regarding thefts at our local cemeteries.
Constable Andrew Gamble said these recent thefts, of bronze monuments and even an urn, caused the police to act.
Gamble continued, saying the person was later found and taken into custody.
No further details were released on what charges were laid or what the intent was at the site.
Gamble said arrest was the result of the proactive efforts of officers but also, the bad choices made by an individual.
