A time-honoured tradition in the town of Aylmer is back for its 177th year this weekend.
Running Friday, August 8 through Sunday, August 10, the 2025 edition of the Aylmer Fair promises something for everyone—from midway thrills and cattle shows to food trucks, live entertainment and of course the demolition derby.
Daily admission is $10 for adults (13+), $7 for children ages 4–12, and free for kids 3 and under. A limited number of weekend passes are also available for $25 (adults) and $15 (children)—cash only. Parking is free.
Gates open at 11 a.m. each day, with a packed lineup of agricultural exhibits, a petting zoo, vendor marketplace, beer gardens, and food trucks running all weekend. There’s also a 50/50 draw, with proceeds supporting Elgin County Fire Prevention.
