A jury has found Jordaine Wilson not guilty in the 2023 stabbing death of his 90-year-old grandmother, Marlene Wilson.
After eight hours of deliberation, the jury concluded there was insufficient evidence to convict the 36-year-old of second-degree murder.
The trial focused on forensic evidence and witness testimony from a shared household, but no motive or eyewitnesses were presented.
Wilson spent 19 months in custody before his acquittal on Tuesday.
