A special moment took place yesterday during Dan Johnson’s Live Like Luke Canadian Crossing.
Dan has been biking across Canada in memory of his late son Luke, raising funds for the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice.
Yesterday, he posted a video in front of a statue of Terry Fox along with his wife, as he officially arrived in Terrace Bay.
While the end goal is returning to Port Dover, for Dan, his arrival in Terrace Bay feels like a completion of something more important.
Terry Fox was an inspiration for Luke.
Dan is asking people to consider donating what they can to the hospice as he continues across Ontario.
While any donation is appreciated, he is suggesting that – if possible – people can pledge a one-time $50 donation to the cause.
