
Norfolk County OPP is warning residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables as thieves continue to strike both locked and unlocked vehicles.
On July 22, around 2:34 p.m., police responded to a theft on Smith’s Mill Road. Around 10:30 a.m., two suspects in a black and white pickup truck were seen stealing a wallet from a sedan. One suspect was wearing a hoodie, shorts, and white shoes. A photo of the suspect and vehicle has been shared.
A second theft was reported July 23 on Queen Street South in Simcoe. Between July 21 and 23, suspects entered a parked pickup truck and stole items, including a cryotherapy machine.
