The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board has approved a $201.97 million budget for the 2025–26 school year, focused on student achievement, well-being, and inclusive education.
The budget supports key priorities in classroom learning, technology, and wellness, with increased investments in staffing—including ESL, Special Education, Child and Youth Workers, and Educational Assistants. Funding will also boost classroom supports, safe schools programs, and extracurricular activities.
Student and staff wellness remains a central focus, with resources dedicated to mental health, belonging, and resilience.
The Board has also drawn from its surplus to enhance learning environments, upgrade classroom technology, and strengthen emergency preparedness and infrastructure.
With a 20% enrolment increase over the past five years, the Board says this budget reflects its commitment to growing a faith-filled, supportive, and student-centred school system.
Leaders say the approved budget ensures students continue to thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually in welcoming, inclusive schools across the region.
