Haldimand County is updating its Trails Master Plan and wants public input to guide the future of its trail system. Residents and visitors are invited to complete a short online survey by August 31, 2025, to share how they use trails and what improvements they’d like to see.
The updated plan will cover all areas of Haldimand—rural, suburban, and growing communities—and explore trail connections to neighbouring municipalities and Six Nations of the Grand River.
Community feedback will help the County enhance recreation, improve travel options, and build a more inclusive trail network for the next decade.

The Trails Master Plan update will unfold in three phases, ending with a final report in early 2026. Visit Haldimand County’s project webpage to learn more or email trails@haldimandcounty.ca with comments.
