The Simcoe Kin Club is raising funds to restore the popular Splash Pad at Head and Windham streets, a community favourite since 2006. Built alongside a fully accessible playground, the Splash Pad has brought joy to many Norfolk children and others looking to beat the heat. But after nearly 20 years, cracks and wear have made repairs a top priority.
In partnership with Norfolk County, the Kin Club hopes to replace the aging concrete surface and reopen the upgraded Splash Pad in time for the 2026 season.
Community members are encouraged to visit the Norfolk Community Foundation website and make a donation of $10, $20, $25 or more to support the project. Every gift brings the community one step closer to preserving this cherished space for future generations.
