The Port Dover Lions Club has officially wrapped up its 2025 Month of May Food Drive, presenting a cheque for $28,000 to the Port Dover Lifeline Food Bank. While the final total didn’t meet the $45,000 goal, Lions members say the need remains urgent.
The cheque was presented by Christina Ramirez of Mike’s No Frills, Lions Pam Harwood and Al Pecz, and accepted by food bank representative Kevin Ryan. A special thank-you goes out to Toyotetsu (TTCA) for its generous corporate support.
Despite challenges, the Lions remain committed to fighting hunger and hope to see even greater support next year. The Port Dover Lifeline Food Bank continues to face record demand, having served more than 1,500 clients over the past year.
