A serious single-vehicle crash closed a section of Highway 24 on Wednesday afternoon as Ontario Provincial Police launched an investigation.
The crash occurred between Norfolk Road 19 East and West. The vehicle reportedly rolled over several times before coming to a stop. The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Police closed the road for several hours to allow officers to examine the scene. Motorists were urged to follow detour signs and avoid the area.
Constable Andrew Gamble, Community Engagement Officer for the OPP, said updates will be provided once more information becomes available.
The road was fully reopened shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday night.
