Engines will roar into Courtland this weekend as Gopher Dunes hosts the Triple Crown Pro National Series—the premier off-road motorcycle racing series in Canada. Gopher Dunes Marketing Coordinator Jaden Savoy says this is a highly anticipated stop on the Pro circuit, putting the county in the national spotlight for motocross fans.
Gopher Dunes is a hidden gem in Norfolk County. Originally founded by Frank and Barb Schuster, the facility is now run by their son Derek, continuing its legacy as a destination for motorsport. Savoy tells us they’re more than a dirt bike track.
Friday kicks off with Bike Night, featuring live music, food vendors, raffles, and a charity fundraiser for Langton Lions Club Dog Guide Program.
Saturday brings amateur races and a live podcast at the GDR Honda Racing Team’s rig, offering behind-the-scenes insights into the Triple Crown Series.
Sunday is Pro National day, welcoming elite riders from across Canada and beyond. Gopher Dunes’ own team—GDR Honda—will compete alongside international riders from Kawasaki and KTM. Featured pros include Dylan Wright, Noah Viney, and Ryder McNabb.
Savoy says they are expecting large crowds of spectators.
She encourages all to come out, even if you don’t ride, you can sit by the beach, watch the races, or just enjoy the community vibe.
Tickets and full event details are available at gopherdunes.com under the Pro National 2025 tab.
Whether you’re a rider, spectator, or just looking for summer fun, there’s something for everyone.
