A new affordable housing proposal is moving forward in Delhi, with a statutory public hearing set for Thursday.
The hearing will review plans for a three-storey apartment complex at the intersection of Gibralter Street and Ewell Street.
The proposed development comes from the Haldimand-Norfolk Housing Corporation.
The currently vacant site lies within Delhiās Urban Boundary Area and is surrounded by a variety of residential and institutional land uses.
The proposal includes 25 affordable housing units, of which a minimum of 10 would be rent-geared-to-income (RGI) units.
The apartment building would rise three storeys and provide 28 on-site parking spaces, with access from Gibralter Street.
