International agricultural workers and their families are invited to the annual Health Fair this week in Simcoe.
That was Carly Watson from the Grand River Community Health Centre, discussing the fair’s purpose.
The event takes place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 79 in Simcoe and is designed to connect workers with vital medical resources.
Maureen Acuna Harrison spoke about how this annual event is not only a resource hub, but a show of respect and admiration for those who work hard in Norfolk each and every year.
She says that this appreciation is felt as well, with many people who attend looking forward to the event all year long.
The Health Fair will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature interactive booths, one-on-one consultations, and information sessions addressing common medical concerns.
The event also offers multilingual support, making it accessible for participants from many cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
