
Sergeant Ed Sanchuk took to social media this afternoon, to inform us the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a serious collision involving two motorcycles at Highway 6 and Concession 2 near Port Dover. The crash happened around 1:00 pm. One motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment. The second motorcyclist fled the area. According to police, the fleeing rider was on a black Harley-Davidson, which should have damage on its right side. The rider may also have injuries.
Police are urging the individual to do the right thing and contact them at 1-888-310-1122. Sergeant Sanchuk reminded the public that “it’s a matter of time before we identify you and your motorcycle.”
Sanchuk also shared that this is one of five motorcycle collisions reported so far today. He encouraged all drivers to stay alert, share the road, and help prevent tragedies on Ontario highways. Further updates will be provided as available.
