Friday the 13th in quickly approaching and the lakeside town of Port Dover is waiting for bikers to roll in.
If you have been debating on whether or not to bring the bike down, Amie Ferris with the Port Dover Kinsmen Club has a pretty good reason as to why you should hop on and give the town a visit.
On their social media pages right now, Port Dover Kinsmen and Friday the 13th Port Dover, you can find out more about road closures – but here are some things you should know if you are planing a visit down.
First, if you want to enjoy your time in Port Dover and perhaps grab a drink or two, the Kinsmen have their campgrounds ready.
If you want to come see the bikes, but don’t have a bike of your own, you should know that road closures may make it hard for you to pop in.
With that in mind, there is another solution – using their parking lot just out of town.
Once parked, hop onto their shuttle which will take you in and out!
She also notes that while a lot of attention is on the Friday, their Thursday night event is becoming more and more popular.
While deemed as “local night” it is open to anyone.
She adds all the drinks you get at their beer garden, money paid for parking, or even merch, goes a long way to supporting the community.
