Today: Walking Scrabble – Norfolk County Public Library – Simcoe Branch (Colborne Street South), 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Fun, fitness, and friends: stay active while having fun! Walking Scrabble combines the classic boardgame with gentle, indoor exercise. It’s perfect for those who want to engage their minds, get active, and connect with others! Participants play Scrabble while walking around the Library, building words and enjoying the camaraderie of group play all while racking up steps for their daily fitness goals! PLUS enjoy a Coffee Social at 1:00 p.m. on the last Monday of the month!
Today: Connecting Through Words – Norfolk County Public Library – Simcoe Branch (Colborne Street South), 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM – Embark on a journey of self-awareness and healing! Our Connect Through Words program will explore topics like hope, nature, and connection to promote well-being, resilience, and connection. Enjoy being read to as you connect with others, build understanding, and reduce loneliness. Youll also receive complimentary handouts that feature valuable resources, both print and online, to enhance your connecting experience. This program is presented by the Norfolk County Public Library and the Norfolk Adult Learning Centre. Spaces are limited and registration is required. Tomorrow: The Library Roadshow with the CEO – Norfolk County Public Library – Norfolk County Public Library – Port Rowan Branch (1034 Bay Street), 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Youve heard of the Antiques Roadshow, but what about The Library Roadshow – with the CEO!? This monthly program invites folks to meet for coffee and conversations with Julie Kent, CEO of the Norfolk County Public Library! Provide feedback, ask questions, and collaborate on enhancing Library services across the county. Much like uncovering hidden treasures, youll discover the true value of Your Library while sharing ideas to help shape the future of our important community hub.
Tomorrow: Preschool Storytime, 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM – Our Preschool Storytime programs are lively and interactive gatherings filled with stories, songs, and social time for children from birth to six years of age. All are welcome to enjoy the library after the program and select books to take home!
