The Norfolk County OPP is reminding students to stay safe and responsible on “Beach Day,” the first Friday of June.
While not school-approved, many youths gather at local beaches leaving class early.
Constable Andrew Gamble says officers will be out making sure everyone is safe and responsible for the popular event.
To ensure that, police will be out in full force watching for illegal or unsafe behaviour, including underage drinking and impaired driving.
With that, Gamble does have a request for the adults out there.
