The Port Dover Legion took another step forward in their efforts to get music back on their patio.
The full backstory on how a noise complaint led to the discovery that the area was not zoned for live music can be found below:
Ron Rayner, Veteran Services Officer for Legion, spoke to the bylaw amendment this past Tuesday during a Public Hearing meeting in front of our elected officials.
He said the Legion takes this seriously and are taking steps to rectify the problem.
County staff spoke on the matter, starting with the initial complaint that was received.
As for the decibel level reader, that doesn’t quite fix the issue.
The issue will be discussed further at future meetings.
