PFLAG Canada is hosting its monthly support meeting at the Simcoe Public Library from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for everyone in the LGBTQ2S+ community, along with their families, friends, and allies.
Founded in the 1970s in Toronto by parents seeking ways to better support their LGBTQ+ children, the organization has grown to embrace core values of community, inclusivity, growth, and accountability. Their goal is to foster a more inclusive Canada for people of all sexualities and gender identities.
The Norfolk County chapter of PFLAG meets on the first Wednesday of every month, giving local residents the opportunity to connect in a completely safe, non-judgmental environment.
These meetings are free and open to everyone, regardless of background, identity, or experience.
Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQ2S+ community, a parent, a friend, or simply an ally who wants to learn and support others, you’re welcome to attend.
