Members of the Port Dover Lions Club recently presented a $35,000 cheque to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, covering the complete training cost of a guide dog.
This contribution supports the foundation’s mission to provide Dog Guides at no cost to Canadians with disabilities, enhancing their independence and quality of life.
To date, over 3,000 Canadians have been matched with trained Dog Guides, with more than 1,000 active teams nationwide.
The foundation relies entirely on donations, receiving no government funding, making community support like this essential
