Brant County OPP is investigating after an excavator being hauled by a red tractor trailer struck four overpasses on Highway 403 eastbound on May 1, 2025. The incident happened around 10:39 a.m. and caused damage to the overpasses at Tollgate Road, Paris Road, Ewing Drive, and King George Road. Pieces of concrete reportedly fell onto the highway.
Police responded to the scene, but the transport truck was not found. The Ministry of Transportation is inspecting the damage. The highway remains open, but drivers are asked to use caution when travelling through the area.
