The City of Brantford is hosting its first Pickleball Friendship Tournament on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. This doubles tournament is open to players aged 13 and up and welcomes all skill levels.
Registration is now open at www.Brantford.ca/ACTIVEnet with a fee of $56.60 per player. Spots are limited and must be booked in advance.
“Pickleball has quickly become one of Brantford’s most beloved sports,” said Joaquin Barrientos, Manager of Aquatics and Fitness. “This tournament is a fun way to bring players together and celebrate the game.”
Check-in starts at 8 a.m. on May 31, with round robin play running from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The action continues Sunday with more matches, a skills competition final, and an award ceremony.
