Norfolk County staff is recommending council move forward on the Port Dover Arena Ice Rink replacement project.
The recommendation is for CIMCO Refrigeration to be awarded the contract for $1.8 million to replace the ice rink floor, boards, brine lines, and related systems.
The project is part of the 2025 construction plan, with $2 million budgeted.
Optional features like goal nets and a trench drain will be included.
Although federal funding is still pending, the project has enough funds to proceed.
