Front Road Cellars has been named a 2024 Luminary of the Year at Ontario’s Southwest Regional Tourism Awards. Owners Nick and Amanda Vranckx received the prestigious honour at the Southern Ontario Innovation Awards Gala in Brantford on March 4th.
This award, presented at Ontario’s Southwest Regional Tourism Awards, recognizes individuals who have significantly impacted the tourism industry through passion and innovation. For the first time, two finalists shared the award, with Laurie and Dan Megna of Twisted Lemon Restaurant + Boutique Inn in Cayuga also receiving recognition.
Nick and Amanda have transformed their winery into a must-visit destination, offering immersive tastings, sustainable initiatives, and farm-to-glass experiences.
“Winning this award isn’t just about what we’ve done—it’s about what comes next,” said Nick.
Front Road Cellars is gearing up for a busy season with events, including a Winemaker’s Series at Ferrera’s Restaurant in Simcoe on March 21st, a Pancake Breakfast on March 30th, and a Cocktail Contest in April. These experiences are just a taste of what’s to come for a fun-filled 2024 season.
