The Norfolk County Public Library is one step closer to reopening its newly renovated Waterford Branch! As preparations continue, the Waterford Leaf, the library’s temporary location at the Waterford Arena, will close on today, Wednesday, March 5th.
The Waterford Branch remains an active construction zone, and the public is asked to avoid visiting the site until an official reopening is announced. Library materials should not be dropped off at the Waterford Arena or the closed branch. Patrons can return books to other Norfolk County Public Library locations or hold onto them—late fees will be waived during the first week of reopening.
Julie Kent, NCPL CEO, shared, “We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to a modern and inspiring space.”
A grand reopening is expected in April. For updates, visit ncpl.ca or follow the library on social media.
Get ready, Waterford! Your library is almost back!
