Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held a press conference yesterday as U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods came into effect.
Prime Minister Trudeau still seemed baffled by the move.
Trudeau spoke directly to Trump as well.
He also questioned the reason for the tariffs – which was initially pitched as concerns about fentanyl and border issues.
The government has introduced 25 per cent retaliatory tariffs on $30 billion worth of American products which is set to expand to another $125 billion in U.S. goods in 21 days.
