Grand Erie Public Health (GEPH) has identified four locations in the region where individuals may have been exposed to the measles virus. Those who visited the following places during the specified times should monitor for symptoms:
- Blue Elephant, Simcoe – February 19 (5 p.m. – 9 p.m.)
- Dover Dental, Port Dover – February 21 (1 p.m. – 4 p.m.)
- Flux Brewery, Scotland – February 21 (6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.)
- Norfolk General Hospital ER – February 26 (6:15 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.)
GEPH is actively notifying direct contacts. Anyone experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, or a rash should seek medical advice immediately.
