Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) has launched its 2025-2028 Strategic Plan, setting a clear path for the future of healthcare in the community. The plan, developed with input from 500 stakeholders—including patients, staff, physicians, and community leaders—focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
NGH Board Chair Stephanie Pongracz-Clarysse highlighted the importance of this new strategy. “Our last plan guided us through growth, change, and the pandemic. Now, we’re refining our focus to meet new healthcare challenges.”
The plan centers around five key priorities: excellent patient care, an outstanding team, operational excellence, community partnerships, and innovation.
NGH has also refreshed its Mission, Vision, and Values to reflect its commitment to compassionate and inclusive healthcare.
“Our work now shifts to bringing this plan to life,” said NGH President and CEO Todd Stepanuik. “We remain dedicated to providing exceptional rural healthcare close to home.”
The 2025-2028 Strategic Plan positions NGH to evolve with the needs of its patients and community.
