Concession Road Brewery in Jarvis continues to shine on Ontario’s brewing stage, winning back-to-back gold medals at the Ontario Brewing Awards for their Island Breeze Sour. The refreshing Pineapple Guava Sour took top honors in the Catharina Sour category in 2023 and 2024. This year, the brewery also secured a bronze medal for their ginger-lime sour, Jarvis Jackass, created in collaboration with Cayuga’s Twisted Lemon restaurant.
Owner Jeff Bunton explained what beers are judged on when competing.
Winning in such competitive categories shows the quality of Concession Road Brewery and the hard work that goes into their craft.
The brewery emphasizes variety and creativity, featuring 11 rotating taps in their taproom. Bunton gave us some tips when visiting a new brewery.
Bunton encourages visitors to explore new flavors, as the perfect way to discover unique beers like the award-winning sours or their collaborative Dunkles Bock, Nightfall.
If you’re interested in trying some of the award winning beers, Bunton invites you to their tap room, adding Concession Road Brewery is not just about beer.
He added, “we want our tap room to feel like an extension of your living room“.
