There will be a lot of voting going on this year with a Provincial and likely Federal election – but in Haldimand County, there is another date to add to the calendar.
On April 10th, eligible voters in Wards 1 & 4 will select who they want to represent them on Haldimand County Council for the remainder of the current Term.
Residents of Ward 1 and Ward 4 who are on the voters list will receive a Voter Notification Letter through Canada Post in mid to late March.
If you are thinking about running for one of the vacant seats in Wards 1 and 4 in Haldimand County, the clock is now ticking.
The nomination period closes Monday, February 24th at 2 p.m.
Nomination papers are available at www.haldimandvotes.ca and must be filed in-person by appointment only.
