Haldimand Norfolk MPP is pushing back against claims that she was set to be appointed as the Conservative nominee in the 2022 election.
Ken Hewitt, who ultimately took that spot, made the claim in an interview with Norfolk Today.

In that story, Hewitt said that MPP Toby Barrett had asked the government to appoint Brady to the spot, but that was ultimately denied.
Brady spoke with Norfolk Today regarding this, denying those claims.
