
Premier Doug Ford, has announced Amy Martin as the PC Party’s candidate for Haldimand-Norfolk in the upcoming provincial election.
A press release from the Conservatives commented that Martin is known for her focus on improving infrastructure, creating jobs, and keeping costs low for local families. It went on to say that under her leadership, Norfolk County has seen better financial stability, expanded water and wastewater services, and environmental initiatives to manage risks like abandoned oil and gas wells.
Ford praised Martin’s dedication and leadership, highlighting shared goals of opposing the Liberal carbon tax, boosting job opportunities, and investing in infrastructure projects to grow the local economy.
Martin expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, saying Haldimand-Norfolk is her top priority. She is committed to improving health care access, building homes, and creating more opportunities for families in the region.
“I’m honoured to represent the Ontario PC Party,” Martin said, vowing to work hard for the community’s future.
