Haldimand Norfolk MPP Bobbi Ann Brady’s phone has been ringing off the hook for weeks about one specific issue – a recent trip to Italy to purchase artwork by trustees with the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board – a trip that is currently under investigation by the province.
Brady asked the government at Ontario Legislature what was being done.
Brady said while the trustees did offer an apology after the fact but it fell on a lot of deaf ears.
The Ford government said they are continuing to increase their investments in schools and that the investigation into this incident is still ongoing.
