COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: The Jarvis Light Up is bigger and better than ever this year – even if there is a green cloud looming overhead

On Monday, we talked about the fun happening around Jarvis but today – the spotlight is on the big event.

Elf Lisa Nigh spoke to us about the Jarvis Light Up ULTIMATE Fireworks & Carnival happening on the 14th of December – but also another fun event happening the weekend before.

That 14th date will be a larger scale event this year as well.

Elf Lisa said they are always trying to find new ways to get people coming out.

The highlight of each year has been the fireworks, but this year is something extra special.

If you go to the BIG event on the 14th – you will actually run into another different Christmas figure as part of the Grinch takeover.

This idea came as part of a brain storming session and the question of how they can reach a wider demographic of people.

Elf Lisa says while everyone on the committee is in that festive spirit – the Grinch isn’t.

So you should be prepared.

Not to break any illusions, but Elf Lisa did want to stress how much effort is going into this fun attraction.
