The Norfolk OPP’s Preventing Auto Theft Unit took a Norfolk County man into custody.
Back in September, officers initiated an investigation into stolen property linked to an address on Windham Road 13 in Simcoe.
This was Friday, a search warrant was executed.
While searching the property, officers located and seized five stolen vehicles, two utility trailers, numerous vehicle parts, and vehicle accessories, with an estimated total value of $200,000.
48-year-old Jerry Lee Gilbert was charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 – in Canada (five counts),
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $,5000 – in Canada (two counts)
