Edward Jones has been a staple in Norfolk County for years now.
What started off in Simcoe and Port Dover has expanded over time.
This has lead to an office in Delhi, and starting next week, a second office is set to open up in Simcoe.
We spoke with Financial Advisor Jane Bradley, who said over the years the scope of what Edward Jones does for a community evolves.
This involves helping clients with short and long term goals and investments, and taking a close look at things that are important to them.
Audio PlayerEdward Jones is not publicly traded, meaning each office you go into is locally owned.
Bradley says this local connection and freedom gives them room to do things other larger corporations can’t do.
Audio PlayerSpeaking of those larger corporations, Bradley knows about the world well.
The road that took her to being a local financial advisory is full of twists and turns.
Audio PlayerFor Bradley, there is one moment that made her switch from sitting behind that corporate desk to being a financial advisor.
Audio PlayerShe has a lot of small businesses walk through her door looking for assistance.
They talk about things like how to maximize investments to planning for a transition – whether that be winding up operations as they approach retirement or how to mindfully transfer that business, or farm property, to a child to keep it going.
No matter who walks through the door, Bradley says the goal is simple.
Audio PlayerNext week is Small Business Week.
Bradley is the title sponsor for the week of coverage, and is excited to show her support for the other amazing businesses in Norfolk.
