The 100% Skateboarder Sk8club is bringing another big event to the area.
Brian Timmons is thrilled to host the second annual Halloween Sk8tacular at the Port Dover Skate Park, especially after the success of that first event last year.
There will be competitions and fun activities – and like previous events, you don’t need to be a pro to take part.
The hope is to get as much food for the food bank as possible, that’s why Timmons is hopeful people stop by to watch.
Not only will the people out on their boards appreciate the audience, but the more donations the better.
This is the third event the club has put on over the past few months, having other events in Brantford and Waterford.
For Timmons, it’s important to have this outreach in smaller communities.
He also wants to show people just getting into the skateboarding culture just the kind of people you will be getting to know as the years go on.
You must wear a costume to take part with lots of fun competitions taking place like Best trick over the “TOMBSTONE” and costume contests.
They will also have a fingerboard park as well for the kids to win some prizes too.
