Ontario announced that flu shots will become available to the public in the coming weeks.
It’s expected that the most vulnerable people will have access to the shots early next month while the general public will able to get their shots at the end of October.
The Ministry of Health says it’s safe to receive a COVID-19 vaccine and a flu shot at the same time, and expect that those vaccines will arrive in Ontario in early October as well.
R-S-V vaccines should also become available next month, and are free of charge for eligible people including infants, some high-risk children, and residents of long-term care homes and retirement homes.
