Two food banks in Haldimand County are getting a boost this Thursday.
MPP Bobbi Ann Brady and Mayor Shelley Ann Bentley will be on hand at both the Hagersville Food Bank and the Caledonia and District Food Bank on Thursday as Ontario Chicken Farmers are set to deliver over 600 kilograms of chicken.
Since May of 2022, Haldimand-Norfolk has received chicken donations contributing to 43,200 meals provided through local food banks.
