If you see smoke coming the sewers around Port Dover this week – don’t be concerned.
The county is working on a County Wide Inflow and Infiltration Program to identify sources of storm water or groundwater entering the sanitary sewer system.
Neighbourhoods on the southeast side of Port Dover will be seeing this, and the county ensures the residents that smoke testing is a safe and the visible vapours are harmless.
