One of the most notable members of Premier Doug Ford’s Cabinet is adapting a new role.
Stephen Lecce spent five years as the Minister of Education, but was recently tapped to change portfolios and focus on Energy and Electrification.
Lecce spoke with us and says he’s ready for the challenge.
He adds they have the vision and ambition to generate, store, and export clean energy to the world to reduce global emissions while creating jobs and driving growth right here in Ontario.
Prior to his new role, Lecce served as Minister of Education for five years – the longest stretch by any MPP since the early 1980s.
