The Norfolk County Public Library (NCPL) is inviting the public to an unveiling event at the Delhi Branch on Wednesday, July 31st.
The event will take place from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., featuring the grand reveal of the new Teen Art Mural. This project embodies the spirit of creativity, community, and youth empowerment. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the talented young artists behind the mural and enjoy light refreshments.
Julie Kent, CEO of Norfolk County Public Library, said, “This artistic expression showcases our youth’s immense creativity and talent. It emphasizes the transformative power of art in bridging connections and fostering a sense of belonging within our community.”
The mural is part of a larger initiative designed to engage young community members in positive and creative endeavors to enhance public spaces. It is the first of five unique murals, reflecting the diversity and aspirations of the youth in Norfolk County. NCPL aims to provide a platform for self-expression and collaboration, fostering a sense of pride, ownership, and unity among the county’s youth.
