A big change at Lighthouse Festival in Port Dover as Derek Ritschel is stepping down as Artistic Director – a position he’s held for 14-years.
In his new capacity as Director in Residence, Ritschel will continue to helm the popular community show in the spring, as well as direct two summer productions each season.
The role of Artistic Director will not sit empty though – as the theatres current Artistic Associate Jane Spence will be stepping into the role, bringing with her nearly 30 years of experience as a performer and director.
