Yesterday, at approximately 10:30 a.m., members of the Haldimand OPP were dispatched to an address on Oaktree Drive in Caledonia, for the report of a heated family dispute.
Upon arrival, police quickly took one person into custody and only minor injuries were reported.
As a result, Jason Taylor, 19-years-old from Caledonia, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault
- Assault with a Weapon (two counts)
- Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm
- Forcible Confinement
- Mischief – Destroys or Damages Property
- Failure to Comply with Prohibition Order
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Fail to Comply (two counts)
The accused remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
